A bucket elevator is a special equipment for vertically conveying powdery, granular and block materials. It is widely used in mining, building materials, grain, chemical industry and other fields. It realizes continuous feeding through the cooperation of buckets and traction components, featuring compact structure and high conveying efficiency.
The equipment is mainly composed of buckets, traction belts or chains, upper and lower drums, machine casing, driving device and tensioning device. During operation, the driving motor drives the driving drum to rotate. The traction belt or chain runs in a circulating motion, and the buckets evenly fixed on the traction components operate synchronously.

At the bottom of the equipment, when the buckets move to the lower section, they scoop up the accumulated materials. Then the buckets lift upward. The closed casing prevents material spilling and dust leakage. When the buckets reach the upper drum and reverse direction, materials are discharged to the upper outlet under the combined action of centrifugal force and gravity.
Empty buckets rotate around the upper drum and return to the bottom for reloading, forming continuous circulating conveying. The tensioning device automatically adjusts the tightness of traction parts to avoid slipping and deviation, ensuring stable operation. According to different discharging modes, it is divided into centrifugal type, gravity type and mixed type, suitable for materials with different fluidity and viscosity, to achieve stable and efficient vertical directional conveying.
