Working Principle

Trajectory

Planar rotary motion: the screen box makes a uniform circular motion (the trajectory is circular or elliptical) in the horizontal plane, which is driven by the eccentric mechanism. This kind of movement makes the material spread spirally on the screen surface, accompanied by a slight up and down jump.

Inclination design: the screen surface usually has an inclination of 1°-5°, using gravity to assist the material to flow from the inlet end to the outlet end.

Material separation process

  • Stratification and permeability screening:After the material enters the screen surface, under the action of rotary movement, small particles are subject to centrifugal force, inertial force and gravity of the combined effect of downward settlement, contact with the sieve holes and pass through (through the sieve).
    • Large particles can not pass through the screen holes, gradually move to the edge of the screen surface, and finally discharged from the upper outlet.
  • Uniform distribution:The rotary motion makes the material continuously dispersed and tumbled, avoiding accumulation and improving the screening efficiency.
  • Multi-level sieving:Multi-layer screen (such as the upper layer of large holes, the lower layer of small holes) can achieve multi-level classification, and materials with different particle sizes are discharged from the discharge port of each layer respectively.

Motion parameter adjustment

  • Eccentricity: adjust the rotary radius, which affects the spreading speed of the material and screening precision.
  • Rotation speed: too high speed will lead to material splash, too low will reduce the screening efficiency, need to be optimised according to the material characteristics.
  • Sieve surface inclination: control the material flow rate, the larger the inclination, the faster the flow rate but shorten the screening time.
